Job description
Pacific Peak Therapy is looking for a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our team in the North Shore/Vancouver regions. This position involves a portion of the caseload working within a PTSD treatment team in North Vancouver (OT, counsellor and psychologist team) as well as return to work support and MVA recovery.
What We Do:
We provide community-based Occupational Therapy services in the Greater Vancouver Area, Interior/Okanagan, Sea-to Sky, and Sunshine Coast regions. We work mainly with individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle accidents and workplace accidents. We also provide ergonomic assessment services and community pediatric OT services. We maintain working relationships with other locally run clinics in our communities of practice as we believe firmly in the value of a multi-disciplinary approach to rehabilitation and supporting small businesses.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligible for registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC (COTBC)
- Valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle
- Proficiency in using electronic systems for booking, charting and telehealth
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Brain Injury and Mental Health an asset.
