The Telfer School of Management of the University of Ottawa invites applications for a non-tenure track replacement professor position at the level of Assistant Professor. The duration of this contract is for two years, commencing on September 1, 2020 and ending on August 31, 2022. The Telfer School is interested in hiring in the area of Tax Accounting.
Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D.
Strong professional background in Tax and IT auditing;
Conversant with IFRS, ASPE and CAA;
Conversant with risk management policies and procedures;
Experience in developing a CPA accredited graduate program;
Experience in teaching in a CPA graduate program;
The Telfer School of Management is one of the larger management schools in Canada, with over 80 full-time faculty and more than 4,000 students enrolled in our undergraduate and graduate programs. The School is strategically developing research and teaching excellence in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, Health Systems Management, Performance Management and Business Analytics. Telfer also offers a very strong curriculum in Accounting at the Undergraduate level and is in the process of creating a graduate professional program that will ultimately lead to CPA designation. We are a fully bilingual management School, unique in a North American context.
