Join Aurora Home Hardware as a Part-time Lumber Yard Worker in our busy store located in Canada. In this role, you will support our team by managing warehouse operations, handling heavy equipment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Your contribution helps us deliver top-notch service to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with warehouse distribution and inventory management.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and pump trucks safely.
- Pick, load, and unload materials efficiently.
- Support shipping and receiving activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
- Use construction knowledge when necessary to handle building materials.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
- Strong physical strength for heavy lifting.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Prior experience with warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Construction experience is an advantage.
- Safety-conscious attitude and teamwork spirit.
- The hours needed for this posting are: Monday thru Wednesday 8am-12pm, Saturday from 8 to 5:30pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm
