Rolmaster Conveyors, a Canadian manufacturing company, requires a Permanent Full Time Material Handler in a fast-paced environment at our facility in Cambridge, Ontario.
Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 42 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm; Friday 7:00 am to 11:00 am). Overtime is paid after 42 hours. Location is on bus route.

About the position:
The Material Handler would be responsible for moving materials within the plant. This will also include unloading bundles of steel tubing and other steel materials from steel transport trucks and placing them in our racking system, as well as moving material and items in the plant with a forklift or overhead crane.
The Material Handler may be required to help load and offload trucks in Shipping, as required by the Plant Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift and Overhead crane operation
- Unload material shipments and place in their specified location on racks
- Transport material throughout the plant to different work areas
- Maintaining cleanliness of the plant floor
- Emptying of steel scrap bins

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with operating a propane counterbalance forklift
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with operating an overhead crane
- Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
- Works well in a team environment
- Positive attitude
- Excellent attendance
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Working Conditions: The Material Handler will work in a production environment, where they may be exposed to moving machinery, varying temperatures, and noise. Physical stamina is required, as the role involves lifting, standing, bending, and moving heavy materials regularly. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
