We seek a full-time Office Administrator to join our small, close-knit office space. You'll be the point person orchestrating administrative and human resources support for our Vancouver, BC division and collaborating with fellow Office Managers. The office is located on Annacis Island in Delta's lower mainland.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee onboarding.

Manage pay office with accurate, timely payroll submissions.

Provides Corporate Office with accounts payable invoices accurately coded and pre-approved.

Ensures inventory charge-out sheets are completed for all jobs.

Answer phone calls and other outside inquiries.

Office management, handling posts, paying rent and utilities.

Support outside accounting firms during audits with any requests for information.

Develops and maintains a database of existing and prospective clients.
- Maintains promotional materials and prepares information packages as required.

Other administration or human resource support services

Requirements

Post-secondary education or formal Office Administration, Accounting, and customer service training.

2+ years’ previous administration, preferably within the construction industry.

2+ years of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software.
- Experience with BC payroll processes and procedures.
- Experience with MS Office. Strong knowledge of Excel is an asset.
- Please note, although there are days you will be able to work from home, this is a full-time poistion that requires you to work in the office.

Salary for this role will be $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 based on experience
