Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscape maintenance activities, including gardening, pruning, planting, and turf care to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Oversee irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to promote healthy plant growth and water efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
- Manage and mentor crew members, providing guidance on horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and best practices in landscape construction.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand project scope and deliver tailored landscape solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project milestones for accountability and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- 5 years proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or related fields with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles.
- Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Hands-on construction experience related to landscape projects is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Valid knowledge of safety standards applicable to landscaping and construction sites.
- Valid G license
