Reports to: Manager
We are looking for laborer with forklift Certification to load/unload trailers and complete General Labor. This position is Monday to Friday.
Our warehouse workers play an essential role within our company and is integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials on and off transport trailer.
- Safely lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Shovel/salt entrances, parking lot and walk ways as needed
- Complete small handy-man type tasks as needed ie. Painting, installing shelves, dusting heat pumps etc
- Complete other maintenance/cleaning duties as required
- Follow all safety policies and wear required steel-toed shoes and PPE.
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Show consistent reliability, responsibility, and dependability in daily work.
- Meet the physical demands of the position on an ongoing basis
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is an asset, but not required.
- Must be able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.·
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Forklift certification not required but preferred
- Work Schedule:· 20-25 hours per week
