Overview
TZA GREEK is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Line Cooks to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Greek cuisine in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of Greek dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and cooking procedures comply with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout each shift
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and waste
- Assist with meal plating and garnishing to enhance visual appeal
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with food handling, serving, and restaurant operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.50-$23.00 per hour
