Overview
We are seeking Part Time Summer Replacement Daycare Educators to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Your primary focus will be fostering early childhood development through educational activities, caregiving, and positive interactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their growth and well-being.
MUST HAVE VALID POLICE BACKGROUND VERIFICATION AND FIRST AID CERTIFICATE
Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Supervise children during play, meals, naps, and other daily routines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times
- Assist with potty training and other caregiving responsibilities as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care
- Follow all licensing regulations and company policies to ensure compliance
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children is highly desirable
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Strong teaching skills to facilitate early childhood education concepts
- Compassionate caregiving abilities with a genuine love for children
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to create engaging, fun, and educational activities tailored to various developmental stages
- Patience, adaptability, and a nurturing attitude to support children's emotional needs
- Bilingual
Pay: $20.00-$30.29 per hour
