Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in executing menus, kitchen operations, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the development of innovative menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee food stations including inventory management, food preparation, and presentation of dishes.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong cooking skills with experience in various cuisines. Italian Cuisine is preferred!
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry.
- Experience in bartending is a plus for establishments offering beverage services.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within a restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and guests.
- A background in hospitality or restaurant management is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
