About BGC Fort Saskatchewan
BGC Fort Saskatchewan is seeking a passionate and experienced Parent/Caregiver Education Program Coordinator to join our Family Resource Network (FRN) team.
The Parent/Caregiver Education Program Coordinator provides one-on-one, strengths-based support to caregivers to strengthen parenting knowledge, skills, confidence, and resilience. This position works alongside caregivers to navigate challenges, build capacity, and create safe, responsive, and nurturing environments for children and youth.
The coordinator will also play a key role in the planning, coordination, and delivery of universal and targeted programs, workshops, and family activities within the community.

This position will maintain an intensive caseload of approximately 7–10 families/clients while also providing coordination, mentorship, and oversight to Program Support Facilitators delivering FRN programming.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage an intensive caseload of 7–10 families/clients, providing individualized support, case management, referrals, and service planning.
· Provide one-on-one support to caregivers focused on parenting skills, child development, family relationships, and caregiver resilience.
· Develop and implement individualized strategies and support based on participant strengths, needs, and goals.
· Maintain accurate and timely case notes, documentation, data collection, and reporting in accordance with Family Resource Network (FRN) requirements.
· Coordinate and oversee the delivery of universal and targeted programs, workshops, and family activities.
· Ensure programs meet established objectives, participant needs, and FRN requirements.
· Provide ongoing guidance, mentorship, and support to Program Support Facilitators.
· Ensure Program Support Facilitators are meeting program expectations, deliverables, and obligations.
· Support Program Support Facilitators with the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and workshops.
· Monitor program quality, participant engagement, and outcomes.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with families, community partners, schools, agencies, and service providers.
· Connect families to appropriate community resources and support successful referrals.
· Participate in team meetings, training, case consultations, and organization-wide initiatives.
· Assist with program evaluation, outcome measurement, data collection, and continuous quality improvement.
· Respond appropriately to challenging situations and support families in navigating difficult circumstances.
· Complete other duties related to program delivery and family support as required.
Qualifications & Experience

Requirements
· Valid driver's license
· Reliable transportation required
· Ability to work flexible hours based on program and client needs
· Successful completion of required background checks and screening
· Post-secondary education and/or relevant experience in a related field
· Relevant training/ certifications: ASIST, CTIP certifications, Mental Health First Aid, First Aid, Trauma informed certifications
