Leasing & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)

JH Property Management is a growing residential property management company serving Woodstock, Kitchener, and surrounding areas. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Leasing & Marketing Assistant to support our leasing operations and help reduce vacancy periods across our portfolio.
This is a part-time position ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, marketing, customer service, and working in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Advertising & Marketing
- Create rental advertisements and marketing content for review and approval
- Post and maintain listings on Facebook Marketplace, Rentals.ca, the JHPM website, and other approved platforms
- Monitor advertisement performance and lead sources
- Assist with promotional campaigns and leasing initiatives
Lead Administration & Follow Up Boss (FUB) Management
- Enter and maintain rental inquiries within Follow Up Boss (FUB)
- Maintain accurate communication records and lead statuses
- Assign leads to the appropriate Sales & Leasing Representative
- Track leasing pipeline activity and prospect progression
Vacancy Management & Reporting
- Prepare weekly vacancy reports
- Track inquiries, showings, applications, and lease conversions
- Monitor days-on-market for vacant units
- Compile showing feedback and common prospect objections
- Monitor competing rental listings and local market conditions
- Assist with vacancy reporting and portfolio performance tracking
Leasing Administration
- Review applicant packages for completeness
- Ensure all required supporting documentation has been received
- Prepare applicant summary packages for Property Manager review
- Coordinate leasing-related administrative tasks and documentation
What We're Looking For
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Comfortable learning new software and systems
- Experience with property management, leasing, administration, marketing, or customer service is considered an asset

Additional Requirements
- Valid G driver's licence and reliable vehicle required
- Ability to travel to properties within Woodstock, Kitchener, and surrounding areas as needed
- Occasional site visits may be required to support leasing, marketing, and vacancy management activities
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
