Our team is looking for a full-time Intermediate Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Designer who is driven to deliver their best work every day and are committed to working collaboratively to achieve shared goals. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineering and other engineering and design disciplines as required
- 3D Model Design using AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Experienced in Navisworks and conducting model reviews for electrical and instrumentation reviews
- Layout and development of single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and other 2D electrical drawings
- Developing MTOs and support capital cost estimates
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams to resolve design issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certification in Electrical design from accredited institute
- 5+ years of experience
- Proficient in Navisworks, AutoCAD Plant 3D
- Ability to work independently
- Effectively communicate with team members
- Excellent knowledge in industry and regulatory standards, including Canadian Electrical Code
