We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for the delivery of IT hardware deployment projects at retail sites across Canada. The PM will manage and lead project teams, control deployment schedules, and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams for assigned divisional projects
- Own the development and monitoring of the deployment schedule
- Define and build documented workflows
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects
- Define the project scope and objectives while involving all relevant stakeholders
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Minimize project risks by performing risk management
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Implement appropriate Project Change Management controls and documentation
- Provide frequent and regular project status updates
- Responsible for Assets and inventory including forecasting and billings
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager for large-scale, retail IT projects or network cabling projects
- Intermediate to senior level experience in business strategy development and implementation
- Experienced with formal project management methodologies
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex, high profile projects
- Solid experience lading complex negotiations, managing supplier relationships and resolves supplier and contractual issues
- Sound business acumen, skilled in change management with excellent interpersonal and excellent communication skills
