Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in commercial projects. The ideal candidate will oversee all phases of roofing construction, from planning to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with construction management software to coordinate resources effectively and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
- Lead and manage commercial roofing projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project execution.
- Prepare accurate construction estimates and budgets using construction estimating tools.
- Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to prevent delays.
- Enforce safety protocols on-site in compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
- Utilize Bluebeam and Civil 3D for project documentation, revisions, and site planning activities.
- Manage project documentation, change orders, and reporting to stakeholders regularly.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing commercial roofing or related construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to roofing systems.
- Proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and cost control measures.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with effective communication skills for coordinating diverse teams.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations (OSHA compliance).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory with equivalent experience. Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
