TPContracting Ltd. prides itself on being a diversified business working in many different fields such as mining, piping, structural steel, concrete and demolition. We are located 3 miles East of Lanigan SK on Highway 16. Our company is both CWB and COR certified. Our employees have a variety of different trades including welding, millwright and iron working, and are trained in safety equipment and operating courses.

Job Summary:

Oversees the workflow at various job sites. Ensures that operations are carried out productively to substantiate profitability and sustainable growth. Responsible not only for supervision of employees, but also mentoring and resolving issues that arise.

Required Education and Training:

  • Journey Person Ticket or related experience
  • Minimum 10 years’ industry or related experience
  • Leadership in Safety Excellence (LSE) training or qualified supervisor training course
  • First Aid and CPR training
  • OH&S Level 1 training
  • SK Mining Association General Mine Safety Awareness Training
  • Other safety tickets will be considered an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Perform work along with crew and supervise crew member activities
  • Coordinate and supervise all on-site daily activities and report to the Company President
  • Assign daily tasks to crew and ensure compliance
  • Train and evaluate the effectiveness of crew
  • Maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders
  • Read and accurately interpret blueprints and drawings for detail and constructability
  • Attend pre-construction, kick-off and ongoing project meetings with Company President and clients
  • Ensure proper use, care and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned
  • Promote and maintain safe working conditions
  • Be a self-starter
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license and pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Ensure implementation and monitoring of TPContracting Ltd.’s safety program on an ongoing basis
  • Other duties as assigned
