Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Tiv speaking Personal Support Worker (PSWs) to provide high-quality care to individuals in private homes. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence. Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to ensure safety
- Monitor health status and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Assist with specialized care needs related to dementia, disabilities, or chronic conditions
- Document care provided accurately and maintain detailed records as required
Experience
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities is highly valued
- Knowledge of dementia care and medication administration is advantageous
- Previous caregiving experience demonstrating compassion, patience, and professionalism is essential
- Training or certification in caregiving or home health aide services is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
