In the role of breakfast server you will work towards exceeding our guest expectations by creating 100% Guest Satisfaction through providing quality food and beverage service to our guests in an efficient and courteous manner, consistent with assisting in the daily operations of the hotels’ Food and Beverage Outlets in accordance with our Doubletree by Hilton Brand Standards. This shift is a 5:30am - 11:00am/12:00pm weekdays and weekends
Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure guest service standards are exceeded constantly.
Accurate cash handling and processing electronic payments.
Ensure proper set-up for reservations.
Ensure server stations and work lists are completed
Ensure server stations and work lists are completed.
Assist in the selling of promotions, specials and contests.
Check each guest table for satisfaction.
Ensure safe and friendly environment
Work as a team player to ensure that all areas operate smoothly and efficiently.
Liaison with the kitchen to ensure that quality is consistently high.
Always smile and maintain eye contact with guests and visitors
Maintaining food safety for the department and following local and Doubletree guidelines for food safety.
Assist to make our guest feel welcome.
Any other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience as a server
ProServe Certificate required.
Food Safe Certificate is an asset.
Comprehensive knowledge/interest in wine.
Proven customer service skills required.
Good communication skills both written and verbal
Must have experience in POS systems.
Successful candidate must be available for all shifts, split-shifts including weekends and statutory holidays
Able to continuously stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift heavy objects.
Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, and ethics.
