As ATB’s next Legal Assistant, you will help support a high functioning and focused legal services team by fulfilling all aspects of a corporate paralegal function, for the duration of a maternity leave. Your role includes corporate governance and the maintenance of minute books and corporate filings, document preparation and drafting, and other legal function support, such as litigation. Your role also includes supporting the collaborative and productive culture within the legal services team.
- Prepare and review legal documents and correspondence
- Assist ATB’s corporate governance function, including maintaining minute books, managing corporate registry filings, and preparing documents
- Contribute to the execution of identified strategic priorities for the legal services team, including an evolution in record keeping practices
- Be a positive contributor to legal services and Sustainability, Relationships and Impact (SRI) culture and active participant in team, department, and corporate events

- This is a temporary 12 month term opportunity.
- This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 3-4 days on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
