Tasting Room Associate

Noble Ridge Vineyard & Winery is seeking enthusiastic and service-driven individuals to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about wine and hospitality, and who take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As a Tasting Room Associate, you will host guided tastings, share the story behind our wines, and contribute to achieving retail and wine club sales objectives. This is a role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to connect authentically with our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing of the tasting room, according to our standard procedures
- Deliver engaging and informative guided tastings, creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest
- Confidently communicate our winery’s history, philosophy, and portfolio, while promoting wine club membership
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the Commerce7 point-of-sale system
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and outdoor spaces throughout the day
Qualifications & Skills
- Passion for BC wine and a strong interest in the hospitality industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented approach to both guests and colleagues
- Comfortable handling cash and processing POS transactions (Commerce7 experience is an asset)
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be 19 years of age or older and hold a valid Serving It Right certification
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- $19–$21 per hour, plus gratuities
