The successful Commercial Sales and Service Advisor is an important part of Tire Sales Team and work in collaboration with peers to archive overall company’s objectives, specifically sales objectives of passenger and commercial tires. This position is responsible to provide outstanding customer service and sound advice about tire purchasing to consumers via phone, email and in-person.

Sales & Customer Service
- Support all efforts to meet the sales objectives of the Commercial/Consumer Tire Sales department;
- Provide outstanding customer service to all customers including those visiting in-person, those over the phone or via email;
- Use your knowledge about tires to provide sales recommendations to customers based on their unique driving habits, vehicle information, brand preference, budget and/or any other relevant needs;
- Provide customer with accurate tire quote, source products with company approved manufacturers or wholesalers, and facilitate the ordering of tires, if not in inventory;
- Work in collaboration with the Warehouse team and Consumer Tire Shop team. Respect company processes and provide accurate and detailed information to both departments, to ensure efficient sourcing and installation of tires on customers’ vehicles;
- Ensure information entered in the sales system is accurate and factual to help avoid inefficiencies;
- Participate in the company’s training programs (employee development, product knowledge, sales techniques, etc.) and continuously seek opportunities to improve your knowledge about tires, technologies, applications, brands, sizes and market;
- Answer service calls and input call details into the Field Aware Service Call system for later dispatching; Assist and at times dispatch our road service technicians.
- Respect weekly schedules and arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your shift to ensure you are ready on time;
- Continuously seek opportunities to better serve our customers by suggesting ways to improve your department’s operations;
- Support your peers to ensure the Showroom, Waiting Room and Customer Bathrooms are clean at all time and that showcased products are merchandised appropriately;
- Adhere to the company’s Customer Service guidelines and objectives as communicated by management and be accountable to apply those rules daily. e.i.: wear the company uniform, positive attitude, etc.
- Handle customer inquiries such as questions, concerns, warranty issues and complaints in a positive and calm manner, answer as appropriate and escalate to management as required;
- Work in collaboration with marketing to support social media, promotional and marketing initiatives as needed.
Health & Safety
- You will participate, respect and support the company’s Health & Safety initiatives.
Education & Experience
- Post-Secondary Education is preferred but not necessary, High School Education is required;
- Tire Industry Experience is preferred, Sales Experience is necessary;
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel);
- Clean Criminal Record;
- Driver’s License is required.
Interpersonal Skills
- You have excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
- You have knowledge of consumer tire products or some related interests;
- You have some working knowledge of tire applications and automotive mechanical services;
- You have some demonstrated leadership skills;
- You are punctual and detailed-oriented;
- You can resolve conflicts with patience and using critical-thinking and stay collected under pressure;
- You are customer service driven.
Availabilities
- You are available to work Monday To Friday during regular business hours;
- You are available to work rotating Saturday shifts and willing to increase your availabilities during peak-seasons (spring/fall) even after-hours;
- You can sit for a long period of time and perform some physical lifting i.e.: lifting a tire or a rim.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
