We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and production specifications. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing environment and is committed to producing high-quality work while following all safety procedures.
- Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements.
- Load raw materials and unload finished parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Monitor machine performance and make minor offset adjustments as needed.
- Perform tool changes and replace worn tooling.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company health and safety policies.
- Perform other production duties as assigned.
- Previous experience as a CNC Machine Operator or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Siemens, or similar) is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Steel-toe safety shoes are required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
