Job Summary
As a regular production employee, to be responsible for the safe transportation of and proper storage of supplies, finished goods and other materials within the plant. Supplying production with materials and supplies to operate the machines in a timely manner to assist in maintaining high OEEs. Only trained to be responsible for driving when needed to fill in for the driver.
Major Responsibilities
- All incoming metal, hydraulic oil usage, alloy removal from trucks, and pre-weigh dross before taking over to trailers.
- Ensuring proper labeling on containers and are free of conflicting TS16949 tags.
- Perform a pre-use safety check at the beginning of their shift and record the findings on a Forklift Daily Operator Check List.
- Process a daily scrap count and fill out the scrap sheets on each shift worked.
Education, experience and skills
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Forklift license
- Previous forklift experience
