We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Installer to join our cabinetry/countertop install company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing a variety of building components, fixtures, and systems with precision and adherence to project specifications. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, new builds and carpentry.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine installation requirements.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to install cabinetry and countertops.
- Conduct caulking, sealing, and waterproofing to ensure installations are weatherproof and durable.
- Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation work.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
- Conduct restoration work as needed to prepare surfaces for installation or repair existing structures.
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools and construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics, and construction principles.
- Experience with cabinetry, countertops, finishing carpentry
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments.
