Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes within our warehouse along with assisting in inside sales to customers. This candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring that all incoming and outgoing packages are handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall success of our operations. Knowledge of the HVAC industry is a MUST as you will be required to assist with inside sales as well.
Duties
- Process incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders and sales orders - packing slips.
- Efficiently load and unload packages using appropriate equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks and hand trucks. Valid forklift certification is required
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipment details using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Perform order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly.
- Ensure that all packages are properly labeled and packaged for shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols while operating warehouse equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
- Experience with order picking and shipping/receiving processes in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) for tracking inventory.
- Ability to operate a forklit with safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50-$22.00 per hour
