GENERAL DUTY I - WEEKEND SHIFT
You will be part of a team that produces products for a vast range of sectors which includes various armoured components for the defence industry, as well as parts for the oil & gas, power utility, and communications sectors.
Our General Duty employees provide general assistance to all areas of manufacturing, in various production departments and may include but not be limited to assisting with assembly, part marking, operating fabricating equipment, assisting machine operators, using power and hand tools and helping with logistics functions.
We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies:
- Must be willing to work Friday to Sunday, 12 Hour Shifts
- Ability to take instructions and a strong willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative, the ability to work well with others and minimal supervision.
- 6 months to 1 year labourer experience.
- A grade twelve diploma or equivalent is a requirement.
- Have mechanical abilities and experience using power and hand tools an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and diagrams an asset.
- Forklift and Crane experience is an asset.
- Combinations of practical and educational experience will be considered.
