Who You Are
UpMeals is looking for detail oriented and organized Execution Team Members to assist our chefs in the Production Kitchen. The primary responsibility of this role is to organize and assemble prepared food ingredients and components into the containers ultimately destined to our clients.
To be successful in this role, you will ensure the quality and consistency of our products by following production quality guidelines, following standardized recipes, and by maintaining product quality through adequate handling, portioning, storage and product rotation. Preferred candidates will be enthusiastic, dexterous, and have attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
- Serves as the dedicated night mixing team member, responsible for combining fresh components and prepared ingredients together accurately according to recipes.
- Reads, understands, and precisely follows recipe instructions, ingredient amounts, and mixing sequences.
- Mixes and portions fresh components, sauces, and recipe elements to spec, ensuring consistency across every batch.
- Assembles bowls and salads, building out bases such as rices, grains, greens, and other prepared components.
- Works effectively with the kitchen team, complying with company procedures and food safety policies.
- Prepares daily workstation with required equipment, keeping the station sanitary and organized throughout the shift.
- Reads, understands, and accurately follows recipe instructions and ingredient amounts.
- Performs basic food preparation duties in a sanitary and safe manner.
- Ensures ingredients are tagged, date-labeled, covered, stored, and rotated effectively (FIFO).
- Keeps all utensils and equipment clean and sanitary.
- Removes trash routinely and clears out storage bins and cardboard.
- Performs other miscellaneous tasks as required to support the production team and meet daily goals.
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a commercial kitchen is an asset (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures consistently
- Basic understanding of food handling, hygiene, and safety practices
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and production schedules
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and wearing required PPE
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to showing up consistently
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
