The Loyalty & Consumer Insights team at Loblaw Companies Ltd. is responsible for stewarding one of Canada’s strongest and most valuable loyalty programs: PC Optimum. The team is charged with continuous innovation, delivering value add insights to the business as well as driving incremental sales and margin through the optimization of one of the top loyalty programs globally.

We are hiring an Sr Analyst, Enterprise Consumer Insights with a background in customer data analytics. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Consumer Insights, the analyst will analyze and interpret data from various sources to create recommendations that facilitate discussions and decisions related to enterprise-wide initiatives. This role will allow the analyst to gain insight, exposure and perspective across all Loblaw divisions.

What You'll Do:
Review and prepare mass quantities of data for analysis
Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, such as: point of sale (financial and transactional), PC Optimum loyalty program, customer research and external market reports
Perform detailed analyses to accurately interpret information and draw conclusions / insights
Work with team to develop concise and actionable business recommendations, including development of business and customer performance KPIs and methodologies for measurement
Data visualizations: Build dashboards & performance reports
Prepare presentation materials for senior management, including senior executives, based on analysis findings
Collaborate closely with data experts to build and extract appropriate and accurate data sets to support analyses
Ensure data accuracy, completeness and quality, swiftly documenting issues with data
Support projects with financial and business optimization modeling when necessary
What You Bring:
University degree in a Business, Finance, Math/Statistics, Analytics-related discipline
Minimum 3-5 related work experience in an analytical role (Retail/ CPG industry experience is an asset)
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills; to not only manipulate but also think outside the box to derive meaningful interpretations from data
Ability to manage large sets of data from multiple sources in an effective manner
Experience with customer-level data is an asset
Experience working with Nielsen and Precima is an asset
Advanced MS Office skills in Excel and PowerPoint required
Basic knowledge of and experience with data tools such as SQL, Python, and R is highly preferred
Self-starter: demonstrated initiative and willingness to take ownership and learn
Team player: demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with teams
Detail oriented and strong time management skills
