We are looking for a 421A Heavy Equipment Technician or a 3rd Year Apprentice or relevant experienced individual to join our fleet maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment, and related equipment.
This role requires a strong mechanical background, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe, reliable repairs that keep equipment operating.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, engine, driveline, undercarriage, issues
- Complete general inspections and service work accurately
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow company safety procedures and maintenance standards
- Complete repair documentation and work orders as required
Qualifications:
- 421A Heavy Equipment Technician license, or currently a 3rd Year Apprentice, or relevant experienced individual
- Experience with earth moving construction-related equipment is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Valid driver’s license required; DZ license is considered an asset
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or as part of a team
