Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely entry and communication with the kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials and beverages to enhance their experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while managing checks and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including food handling and proper food safety practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction during busy hours
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and billing
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving or hospitality roles that demonstrate guest service excellence
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift trays, and perform duties throughout long shifts
