Please note a 1 year commitment is required for this position.
Compensation can reflect $70+ per hour while massage services are being performed.
Job Duties Include:
Reporting to the Massage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Perform all 30, 45, 60, 90 and 120 minute massage and body treatments, as certified/trained to do.
- Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to needs and expectations.
- Maintain clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment in safe working order.
- Maintain an ample supply of massage oils, towels, sheets, and other necessary supplies in a neat and orderly fashion within the massage work area
- Maintain current professional licenses, CPR, First Aid.
- Participate in in-house training opportunities in our professional product lines and extend homecare including retail suggestions to our clientele
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited 2200-hour massage program
- Registered within province of Alberta prior to beginning employment
- Previous experience in a Spa preferred
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Constant standing/walking throughout shift and must be able to lift and carry 20+ lbs
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Lifting -Under 20lbs 10% of work time.
- Pushing -35lbs pressure through wrists 80% of work time.
- Motions -Bending, standing, reaching, and working with hands, arms, and fingers continuously throughout workday.
- Work Environment -Indoors, with very limited exposure to sunlight.
