Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and possess the mechanical knowledge necessary to mow lawns 5-6 days per week. This role involves working outdoors, utilizing hand and power tools to ensure the health and beauty of our clients' landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Dig holes for planting trees, shrubs, and flowers as needed.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Inspect lawns and gardens for signs of pests or diseases and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions in rain or shine
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license an asset
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients professionally.
