Job Requirements:
Experience and Knowledge: Prior experience in commercial cleaning, particularly within the food production industry, is preferred. Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations is an asset.
Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit.
Attention to Detail: Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that all surfaces, equipment, and production areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to company and food safety standards.
Knowledge of Cleaning Procedures/Agents: Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques, including the proper and safe use of cleaning agents, sanitizers, and equipment, is necessary.
Food Safety Compliance: Must adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a hygienic environment to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the safety of food products.
Time Management Skills: Efficient time management skills are necessary to complete cleaning tasks promptly and effectively.
Communication and Teamwork: Must possess the ability to interact, read and write in English and be able to work well with others.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Should be flexible and willing to assist in other areas when needed.
Health and Safety Awareness: Must prioritize safety and be aware of potential hazards, follow safety protocols, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
Reliability and Dependability: Be dependable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
