Job Overview
NT Parr Plumbing & Heating Incorporated is seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our growing team. We specialize in new residential builds, commercial builds, renovations, and custom homes, with the majority of our work focused on planned construction projects rather than day-to-day service calls.
This position is ideal for a plumber who prefers working on new installations and renovation projects. We do not often perform service work, as our main contracts are based on new builds and renovations, allowing for consistent, organized job sites and steady project-based work.
You will work on a variety of systems including boiler systems, in-floor heating, and hydronic heating systems, contributing to high-quality residential and commercial construction from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Install plumbing systems for new residential and commercial builds
- Perform plumbing installations for renovations and custom home projects
- Install and service boiler systems
- Install and maintain in-floor heating (floor heat) systems
- Work with hydronic heating systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and complete limited service work when required (not a primary duty)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional worksite
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and team members
Qualifications
- Valid Plumbing License (required)
- Experience with residential and commercial construction plumbing
- Experience with boiler systems, floor heating, and hydronic heating (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- G3/G2 Gas license is an asset / perk but not a requirement!!
