Responsibilities
- Diagnose issues with small engines and related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance and service work
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and completer repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug replacements
- Sand, Clean and paint equipment as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory organization and shop operations
- Load, unload, and move equipment within the shop yard
- Complete other shop-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven mechanic experience with small engines or automotive repair is essential
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Basic welding or fabrication skills
- Ability to diagnose issues
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Valid drivers license is an asset
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of shop responsibilities
