Job Summary

Intrepid Surveys Ltd. is an established Land Surveying company based out of Leduc. They understand the needs of the public and treat their employees with respect. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing field survey activities on various projects throughout central Alberta.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setting up and operating survey instruments
  • Prepare field notes/sketches
  • Locating and re-establishing survey monuments
  • Complete the day to day survey activities specific to the project
  • Actively participate in pre-job hazard assessments
  • Any other duties as required

  • Good understanding of the Manual of Standard Practice and survey methods

Working Conditions

  • Office is based out of the Leduc Area but projects are spread throughout central Alberta
  • Ability to work outside for extended periods of time in hot/cold climates
  • Frequent travel and overnight stays away from home base
  • Flexible shifts (5/2, 4/3, 10/4)


  • Overtime hours after 8 hours/day at a rate of 1.5 times the hourly wage
  • 2 weeks' of vacation per year
  • Compensation for employee owned truck and/or off-road vehicles
  • Company credit card for accommodations/company owned vehicle expenses

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $32.00 to $40.00 /hour
