Position Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Electrical Coordinator to support the daily operations of our electrical projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, electricians, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are scheduled, documented, and completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule electrical projects, service calls, and installations.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field staff.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, work orders, permits, and reports.
- Track project progress, material deliveries, and job costs.
- Assist with estimating, quotations, and procurement of materials.
- Monitor project timelines and help resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.
- Maintain accurate records using company software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support project managers and office staff with administrative and operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Experience in the electrical, construction, or trades industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with project management or scheduling software is an asset.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction practices is preferred.
