Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and schematics to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various agricultural settings
- Assist with assembly, installation, and calibration of new machinery or components
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and operational tracking
- Support safety protocols by conducting regular safety checks on all equipment and ensuring adherence to industry standards
Experience
- Proven experience working with dealership or agricultural machinery is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with a background in automotive repair or industrial equipment maintenance
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical systems, welding techniques, and assembly processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate power tools confidently
- Prior experience in mechanic roles involving electrical or mechanical repairs on complex machinery
