Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper/Caregiver who is fluent in Russian to join a welcoming household in Caledon. This dynamic role combines essential cleaning duties with attentive caregiving, ensuring a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment for our clients. The ideal candidate will bring energy, organization, and excellent communication skills to foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere. Your bilingual ability will be key in providing personalized care and seamless communication within the household.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough residential cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing living spaces to maintain a pristine environment
- Manage laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and ironing clothes and linens
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary preferences or restrictions
- Assist with personal care tasks such as grooming, medication reminders, or mobility support as needed
- Maintain clear communication with household members to understand daily needs and preferences
- Organize household supplies and manage time effectively to prioritize daily chores and caregiving tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes comfort and well-being
Requirements
- Fluent in Russian;
- Prior experience in residential cleaning and caregiving roles preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with household members and visitors
- Ability to perform light physical activities such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, laundry procedures, and basic cooking skills
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a caring attitude towards clients’ needs
