We are seeking a full time Truck and Transport Mechanic Journeyman or Apprentice to continue apprenticeship or join our team. This role involves preforming all mechanical duties required in respect to the repair of heavy trucks/trailers/light duty trucks. The ideal candidate will possess experience with transportation truck and trailer repairs, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting, SGI certified to preform Saskatchewan safety inspections would be an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks/trailers/light duty trucks
- Complete service repair orders to bill out all parts used on repair order
- SGI certified to preform Saskatchewan safety inspections
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and customers regarding repair status or technical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills
- Must possess a Journeyman Certificate in the field of Truck and Transport Mechanic or is registered as an Apprentice
- At least 4 years of experience in the above fields
- Proficiency with schematics, diagnostic tools, and electrical systems troubleshooting
- Must have own tools and toolbox. Tools must include a selection capable for a Journeyman or Apprentice to perform any type of a required function
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Candidates should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnostics and repairs
Consideration will also be given to applicants who are registered as an Apprentice in the above noted trades.
