Innisbrook Golf Course is looking for a Seasonal Golf Services Team Member to join our team for the fall season.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and being part of a friendly golf course environment. Previous golf experience is not required — we are willing to train the right person.
Position Details
- Season: End of August to approximately mid-November
- Hours: Flexible scheduling, including weekends and evenings
- Location: Innisbrook Golf Course, Barrie, Ontario
- Position: Seasonal / Part-time
Responsibilities
The position will involve a variety of golf course Starter duties, including:
- Checking in golfers for their tee time
- Organize players into the correct groups
- Greeting and assisting golfers in a friendly and professional manner
- Communicating tee times and ensuring golfers are ready to tee off as scheduled
- Providing information and basic course instructions to golfers
- Helping maintain an orderly pace of play
- Stage and clean golf carts for tournaments and regular play
- Serving snacks and beverages, (Including alcohol) to golfers and guests
- Assisting customers with the purchase of golf related merchandise
- Operating the point-of-sale system and handling transactions as required
- Assisting with general course and facility tasks as required
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and responsible
- Friendly and comfortable working with the public
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Golf experience is an asset, but not required
