"We are seeking motivated individual's to join our team as an Journeyman/Apprentice ( rough in and underground crews ) . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the electrical field. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the guidance of experienced electricians and gain hands-on experience in various electrical projects.
Duties: For Apprentices
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
- Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Assist in the installation of low voltage systems
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Learn to work with different types of electrical systems, including industrial settings
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of electrical principles and concepts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting heavy objects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Pay scale for apprentices is 60/70/80/90 % of Journeyman rate (40.00) Holiday pay is 10% paid on all regular hours
