Build on your career experience by:
Providing clinical leadership and coordinating client care activities
Supervises nursing, nursing support staff assign and adjust work assignments
Coordinates the work of the clinical team overall on a day-to-day basis; monitors the quality of care and the safety of long-term care clients and take action
Supports quality long-term/client care and excellence in practice by promoting interprofessional collaboration and team building, supporting staff to plan and carry out client/family education
Participating in and taking a leadership role in quality improvement and risk management activities
Your background includes:
Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
Three (3) years of recent related clinical experience in the designated clinical area including one (1) year experience in a supervisory role
Completion of post-graduate course work and/or certification applicable to the designated clinical area.
This role is a casual position located in the Tri-Cities area, BC. Tri-Cities include Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.
