Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Yard Manager will be responsible for all Brandt work materials flow in the Saskatoon location.
They will have strong organizational and leadership skills and the ability to lead and manage a large team. Person should have a positive attitude and be a fit with the Brandt leadership requirements and lead by example.

What You Will Be Responsible For
- Manage overall yard and warehouse
- Ensure all materials are in place as shown on Master Layout
- Making recommendations to Operations Manager for changes to master layout based on business growth and needs.
- Ensure proper signage and non-verbal communication is laid out so all Brandt staff know traffic patterns and functionality of each yard area.
- Manage Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, Kitting and locating processes to ensure all steps are being followed and updated as required.
- Receive inventory and perform all BAAN & Jonas tasks in a timely manner
- Location materials neatly and orderly in approved inventory locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory and correct location within BAAN and Jonas
- Kitting and deliver materials to plant staging areas based on manufacturing planned needs.
- Move materials in an orderly and efficient manner throughout the yard as required by operations using traffic patterns within yard layout.
- Work closely with manufacturing staff, communicating systems and flow, to ensure production uptime is at its maximum.
- Direct yard, forklift and warehouse personal
- Ensure Yard and Warehouse are maintained to company standards.
