We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Preservation Reunification Worker to join our team. In this vital role, you will work directly with families to support reunification efforts, strengthen family bonds, and promote the well-being of children. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with families, social services, and community partners to develop and implement individualized reunification plans.
- Provide direct support and guidance to families navigating challenges related to child welfare and family stability.
- Conduct home visits and assessments to monitor family progress and identify needs for additional resources or interventions.
- Offer parenting education, counseling, and emotional support to strengthen family relationships.
- Document case activities, progress notes, and relevant reports accurately and in accordance with agency policies.
- Advocate for children’s safety, rights, and best interests throughout the reunification process.
- Maintain professional boundaries while building trusting relationships with families and children.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in social services, education, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse families and community members.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on agency needs.
- Must demonstrate a genuine commitment to child welfare and family preservation principles.
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
