Job description
We are seeking editors with outstanding English skills to edit journal research articles prior to publication. Manuscripts are written by scholars from all over the world and from all research disciplines. Successful applicants will work remotely and must be available to edit at least 60,000 words per week.
Organization Overview
MDPI is an academic open access publisher of over 200 academic research journals. Our mission is to rapidly communicate the latest research results as broadly and openly as possible.
Your Responsibilities
Editors are expected to accurately edit scholarly articles, working to short deadlines with a high degree of consistency. You will be expected to work from home and be familiar with Microsoft Word. Knowledge of LaTeX is an advantage. All editors undergo a probation period under the supervision of a trainer.
Your Experience and Skills
All applicants must have the following:
Advanced knowledge of English.
Experience in editing and writing.
Advanced knowledge of and access to Microsoft Word.
Excellent self-organization, including meeting short deadlines.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to work remotely as part of an international team.
A strong interest in working with research material.
The following are a benefit:
