Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties
- Greet and assist customers as they enter the establishment, ensuring a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system, ensuring all customer requests are met.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Assist in managing wait times and seating arrangements to optimize customer flow.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Provide support in bartending duties when necessary, including mixing drinks and serving alcoholic beverages responsibly.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, with a focus on customer service roles.
- Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering processes is essential.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash transactions are required.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A willingness to help others and work as part of a team is crucial for success in this role.
