We are seeking a dependable and experienced Class 1 A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting grain and fertilizers across various Canadian Prairie Provinces, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport grain and fertilizer safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, including logs, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during transportation activities.
- Occasionally perform basic maintenance or troubleshooting on trucks and trailers as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Skills
- Valid Class 1 A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a decent driving record.
- Experience with Super B Trailers is an asset.
- Experience in commercial driving, bulk freight transportation, or related logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and transportation regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients.
- Physical fit to perform required duties.
This position offers a vital role within our logistics operations, emphasizing safety, efficiency, and professionalism at every stage of transportation.
Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
