The Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) is an independent agency that develops and administers property assessment policy for the province, and provides property appraisal services to over 750 of Saskatchewan’s urban and rural municipalities.
About the Opportunity
As a Web Administrator/IS Support Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting SAMA’s digital presence and information technology services. This full-time role combines web administration, digital content management, service desk support, user account administration, and technology troubleshooting to help ensure reliable, secure, and user-focused digital services for both internal and external customers.
What You’ll Do
- Administer, develop, maintain, and support SAMA’s internet, intranet, SharePoint-based content, and digital communication platforms.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees by diagnosing, troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating hardware, software, network, system, and application issues.
- Log, prioritize, track, and resolve incidents and service requests using the Agency’s service management system.
- Manage user access by creating, modifying, and deactivating accounts in accordance with established security procedures.
- Monitor website performance, analytics, search functionality, usability, accessibility and user experience, and recommend improvements.
- Administer Agency social media and digital communication channels, including coordinating approved content and supporting online publishing standards.
- Maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base materials while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who brings strong technical knowledge, customer service skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has:
- A post-secondary diploma in a related field such as web design, graphic design, interactive communications, computer science, or a related discipline; or a post-secondary certificate in a related field and one year of related experience.
- Considerable working knowledge of programming languages and online services software packages, including web authoring, content management, graphic production, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint content management, including pages, document libraries, lists, permissions, metadata, and intranet publishing practices.
- Knowledge of web design theories, principles, and concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and related productivity tools.
- Proficient keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- The ability to work independently with limited supervision.
