ICE Islamia Elementary School is seeking a caring and enthusiastic JK/SK Homeroom Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will create a nurturing classroom environment that supports academic growth, character development, and Islamic values.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual development.
- Incorporate hands-on learning and educational technology into classroom activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to parents.
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive student interactions.
- Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with staff and participate in school activities and events.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field. (Preferred)
- Previous experience teaching JK/SK or primary students preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic educational technology.
- Passion for working with young children in a faith-based learning environment.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
